Friendship and company for mums – for coffee, walks and life between naps.
Why we built it
Mamli is a mobile app for mums and mums-to-be who want company for everyday life: a coffee while the baby sleeps, a walk in the park, a playground nearby, or simply someone who understands.
It is our flagship product – designed, built and run entirely in-house, from the app and the back office to the servers it runs on.
Becoming a mum often means a sudden change of routine and, for many, loneliness. Friends work, family lives elsewhere, and local mum groups are scattered across social networks where it is hard to tell who is nearby and who is free today.
Mamli brings this into one calm, safe place: mums nearby, with children of a similar age, who want to meet.
What Mamli does
Mums nearby
Browse mums in your area. Instead of a compatibility percentage, Mamli shows the things you have in common – children’s ages, interests, languages, values.
LIVE city chat
A group chat for your city for spontaneous plans: “Anyone at the playground at 3?” Messages disappear after 7 days and only public places can be shared.
Invitations, not cold messages
A private chat opens only when both mums want it – after a mutual like or an accepted invitation. Nobody can push into your inbox.
Places map
Playgrounds, cafés and family-friendly venues on a map, with reviews from other mums. New places are checked by the team before they appear.
Plans and events
Share when you are free for a walk or coffee, and find local events from cafés, studios and playrooms.
Petunija
A friendly in-app helper – a coral flower – with short, practical tips on where to go and how to get started.
Mums and mums-to-be
Adults (18+) looking for friendship, company and practical support close to home.
Local businesses
Cafés, playrooms, studios and venues can publish events and present their space. They see only aggregate statistics – never mums’ profiles, chats or personal data.
- Every profile photo is reviewed by a person before anyone can see it; children’s faces are not allowed.
- Strictly 18+, checked during sign-up and by the database.
- Pregnancy is treated as health data: shown only with explicit consent and never shared with businesses.
- The phone’s location is never stored or sent; only an approximate area is shown to others.
- Data is stored on our own protected server in the EU; members can report and block, and reports are handled by people.
The app is in final testing on iOS and Android, with a waiting list open on mamli.lt.
Public launch in Lithuania is planned after store review, followed by Premium features and business events.
